Felicia and Gilat's playdate (oh yeah, the kids played too!)

Felicia was visiting from Texas and we met up at her parents'  house in NJ.  The kids had a blast playing together.  They showed great interest in each other, pulling hair, sticking fingers in the other's mouth, hitting heads, stealing pacifiers, and a lot of smiling!

Videos

Kai has been insisting on standing up every time someone sits next to him!  He pulls himself up on his own--I just help him with balance!

Kai LOVES this song.  It always makes him smile!

Celebrating Keith's birthday OUT!

OK, so Ruby Tuesday may not normally be our restaurant of choice to celebrate Keith's birthday, but it was close by, and easy to take Kai (or so we thought).  Turns out Kai can't be around people eating, unless he is eating as well.  It doesn't matter if he just finished a big meal.  If you're eating or drinking--he wants it too!   It's getting to the point where we have to hide his EMPTY bottles and hide our food.  CRAZY!
I also uploaded a video of him trying to feed himself... cute!

Keith's birthday!

We celebrated Keith birthday with some family...  Had a great time, and Kai enjoyed all the attention.  It was very hot, and at the end of the day we were all so tired!

We loved celebrating together, and had a really good reason to celebrate this year!

Kai spent some time on the porch (mostly trying to take his hat off), and Pop Pop Fred was entertaining him (and keep the hat on).

This picture doesn't need any words.  Just our beautiful baby.

Happy to help Daddy open presents.

Kai being his silly self with Saba and Savta.

He loves his new red ball!

Hanging out with Aunt Cate, and eating watermelon.  Yummy.

Trip to Van Saun Park

Kai turned 7 months old on April 27!  Practically a man (if you ignore the drool on his chin)!
We went to visit the Van Saun zoo with Jenn, Meredith and Brendan.  Only got to see a couple of animals because it wasn't officially open yet, but Kai enjoyed the stroll.  He got his first taste of a frozfruit ice pop, and wasn't sure what to make of the freezing sensation in his mouth.  Still, he continued to open his mouth for another bite!
Here is Kai with his friend Meredith, who will one day be able to teach Kai all about birds!  I was very impressed with her knowledge!
Here is Kai and the donkey checking each other out.  Many of the animals were too small for Kai to notice, but it was hard not to notice this donkey (not to mention the smell!).
