3 months old pic and tummy time--video
Hard to believe, but Kai has already turned 3 months old! He is very handsome (if I may say so myself), smiley and strong. Some things that he likes are: being tickled, being kissed, being held and getting picked up from his bed first thing in the morning (even if that may be 5 am unfortunately!), sucking on his hands, being talked to, LOVES when Ima sings to him, and eating! He smiles A LOT, and has laughed out loud several times already.

Christmas and Hanukkah
Kai had a busy and fun filled week celebrating his first Hanukkah candle and then Christmas.
He enjoyed the light of the candles, as well as opening presents Christmas Eve morning. We went to South Jersey to visit family for Christmas Eve and Day, and he got lots more presents there, and even more hugs and kisses. He laughed out loud several times. He was truly tired at the end of it all, and slept all the way back home (2 hours), and 10 hours at night!! We really enjoyed celebrating with him!

Kai's first Christmas
Kai got his first Christmas tree! He didn't care to choose one, and just slept most of the time while Ima and Daddy picked one out for him. Luckily, he seems to approve of it. He is absolutely fascinated with the star at the top and was twisting his head in every direction to get a good look at it! It's so cute to see him...

Thanksgiving and 2-month-old pics
Kai had a good time at Thanksgiving dinner. He actually sat in the swing and let us eat! all together! Not in shifts! He took a couple of nice pics with his uncle Eyal. Good thing we ate early because by 6 o'clock the "witching hour" began (more like 2 hours)! But hey, we'll take what we can get...

Kai at 2 months
Kai had his 2 month doctor's visit today. Hard to believe, but he is already 13 lbs (93rd percentile), and 24 1/4 inches long (96th percentile)! He's a tall baby! He did so much better than his last doctor's visit, and was calm most of the time until he got sick of his Mom asking the doctor so many questions while he was laying there naked. Can you blame him?! The doctor said he had nice head/neck control, and he even gave her a little smile. Then he got his first shot! I was nursing him while he was getting it, to distract him, and it worked. He cried for a total of 5 seconds, and went back to eating. Our little muncher!

Kai saying goodbye to his nephews & video
Kai's aunt Tali and her family moved to Israel, and came to say goodbye to us. It was a good visit, but a sad day!

Video-- Kai at Alstede Farm
On Tuesday Kai visited a farm in Morris County with his cousins Adi and Ido. There was lots of hay, pumpkins, and animals. Kai enjoyed being carried in his Baby Bjorn, and was awake and alert the entire time. As you can see in the video, he was practicing feeding the horses. Sort of. Pictures to come soon.

First time in S. Jersey
Kai visited the South Jersey crew last weekend. It was his first time sleeping somewhere else, and he did pretty well. Look at that beautiful smile!

Halloween--video
Kai didn't have a costume this year (next year!), but he did have a couple of outfits. The one from aunt Cate is newborn, and is already too small for him! (sorry Cate). The other from Lynn is 3-6 months and it fits him! (scary!). So that's the one he's wearing in the video.

Kai is about 1 week old here, and is enjoying his mobile in his crib for the first time. He still likes it, thankfully, and it helps me get my teeth brushed in the morning...

More visitors
Some of these pics are already a little old (didn't have time to post them in a timely manner). The first 2 pics are with Suzanne and Allison when Kai is 3 and 4 weeks old. The last 2 are with Helen and Janet when Kai was only about 2 weeks old. I think Kai was only 2 weeks old. He always seems kind of confused when new people hold him. What a cute expression on his face!

Visiting...
Kai met up with his cousin Ido at a coffee shop in Ridgewood a few days ago (how posh!), and then had a visit from Felicia and baby Corinne (all the way from Houston). He also discovered he likes to eat my chin! He was sucking on it for a good 5 minutes!
